itel Continues St Lucia Expansion with the Opening of its Third Site in Vieux Fort

May 20, 2022

(VIEUX FORT, Saint Lucia, May 20, 2022) - Today, two years after opening its first site in Saint Lucia, itel, the Caribbean’s largest regionally-founded business process outsourcer (BPO), celebrates the launch of its third building in the Hewanorra Freezone. The milestone achievement was celebrated with an intimate ribbon cutting ceremony on the grounds of the outsourcing provider in Vieux Fort.

Since the launch of itel’s first site in Saint Lucia in 2020, itel has launched a second facility and hired more than eight hundred and fifty (850) team members for their customer experience delivery center in the South of the island. This third building, which follows the same modern and sophisticated design as its predecessors, is an 8,500 square foot space that immediately accommodates 120 agents, with a total capacity for 970 seats, employing over 1,000 people. The modern state-of-the-art customer experience delivery center spans 120 ft and has been in development since late 2021.

itel’s Founding Chairman and CEO, Yoni Epstein, who was present for the ceremony, shared his remarks on the company’s achievements and outlook. “Through the work of the Government, Invest Saint Lucia and business process outsourcers like itel, Saint Lucia continues to position itself as a global outsourcing destination that can support customer experience delivery for some of the world’s best brands. We are thrilled to be at the forefront of this movement, helping to bring, not just jobs, but careers to the South of the island.”

Among the attendees, were government officials and dignitaries Michael Willius, Deputy Chairman of Invest Saint Lucia, Roderick Cherry, CEO of Invest Saint Lucia and the Hon. Bradley Felix (Representative of the Opposition and Constituency Choiseul).

itel, which celebrates its 10-Year Anniversary next month, provides an award-winning customer experience delivery model supported by a youthful, and skilled workforce. It offers continuous training with most of its leadership team being promoted from within.
